Lasker Award to Prof. Dr. Bartenschlager

Prof. Dr. Ralf Bartenschlager was honored with the Lasker-Award, the most prestigious prize for medical research within the USA.

His research on replication of Hepatitis C virus provided the foundation for development of pharmaceutical components for hepatitis treatment and finally the cure for chronical liver infection.
